Dumbarnie Links

Dumbarnie Links opened in May 2020 and quickly became a must-play. It hosted the 2021 Women’s Scottish Open and has won awards including World’s Best New Course.

Founded and designed by architect Clive Clark, it set out to be a thinking golfer’s course with risk, reward and options on every shot. It has a mile and a half of sea frontage, and views across the Firth of Forth to Muirfield, North Berwick and Edinburgh.

Dumbarnie plays as a traditional seaside links, with over 100 bunkers and twisting burns. Unusually for a links, holes do not go out and back. They point all over the compass, so no two consecutive holes play in the same direction. Yardage runs from 5,300 to 6,900.
