East Coast and Central

It may depend on how you look at a map but for the purposes of the site, East Coast and Central includes the golfing areas of Perth, Angus and Fife and as such includes the destinations of Gleneagles, Carnoustie and of course St. Andrews. The Old Course is the must play location for so many golfing visitors to Scotland and the area around St Andrews is packed with challenging quality courses old and new, links and parkland.

The Ryder Cup venue at Gleneagles is just south of Perth and about an hour from St Andrews while Carnoustie is less than forty five minutes north of the home of golf. Newer courses abound such as Kingsbarns, Fairmont St Andrews or The Castle; older gems around every nook including course such as Crail, Scotscraig or Ladybank.
